Group Accounting Manager

This summer EF’s central Finance team will move from Stockholm to EF’s European headquarter in Zurich. We are now looking for a Group Accounting Manager, a role in which you have the possibility to make daily impact. You will actively work on improving and streamlining the accounting work and the reporting standards for the Group. You will share the responsibility for both the legal and operational group reporting, the consolidation and accounting issues together with the Group Corporate Controller. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Shared responsibility for the legal and operational Group reporting.
  • Quarterly consolidation for several legal groups including subsidiaries located in more than 50countries.
  • Continuously improving, streamlining and developing best practice within the Group with regards to accounting and management reporting.
  • Training and supporting the finance managers and business controllers on accounting issues, financial model and consolidation system.
  • Contacts with external consultants and auditors.
  • Supporting on a variety of ad-hoc projects and analysis.
  • Preparing the Group reporting package to the Group CFO and Owner.

Qualifications and experience:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of six years’ professional experience.
  • Solid analytical skills, a proactive and humble attitude.
  • Strong leadership, team building and interpersonal skills.
  • Profound understanding of accounting standards (mainly IFRS).
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver tangible results within specific timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work efficiently at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly proficient within financial systems and software (previous experience with Aaro, Coda,SharePoint, TM1 is meritorious).
