Senior Financial Specialist

The team

The Finance team is responsible for providing information to the stakeholders of EnterCard and serve as a trustee to ensure that all financial information used for decisions is accurate. Together we ensure good quality in daily accounting and month end closing processes, forecast profit and loss, provide analyses for investment decisions and report financial performance.

The role

To ensure good quality in daily accounting and month end closing processes according to local and international regulations with subsequent reporting to authorities. Work toward common procedures and guidelines in the company’s different business areas in close cooperation with Department Manager for branches and Financial Controller function.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations as well as internal instructions through good quality in daily accounting and month end closing processes.
  • Support timely and accurate financial statement process and coordination cross the functions including consolidation.
  • Support the team in statutory, regulatory and tax reporting for the company, including reporting to owners.
  • Supporting EnterCard wide projects and finance projects requiring financial operation and accounting support.
  • Support the quarterly audit processes.
  • Ensure and support that all processes within own department is mapped and continuously updated, that instructions are created and implemented in the organization and that risks are identified and controls are in place according to process owner directive.
  • Support EnterCard’s regional agenda and work proactively to take out synergies and cost efficiencies.
  • Build relationships within finance and across a number of internal functions in EnterCard in order to further develop and improve accounting skills. 

You

  • You have a strong university degree with a major in accounting/audit.
  • You have solid experience in Accounting within the financial sector. Minimum 3-5 years experience within professional services.
  • Knowledge of Swedish FSA requirements desirable.
  • Results and solution oriented with an ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • You are fluent in English and Swedish.
  • Proactive with a strong drive and integrity and able to work with limited supervision.
  • You meet your daily challenges through a reflective and solution-oriented approach.
