Head of Commercial Operations

Permobil is now looking for an experienced manager for the role as Head of Commercial Operations in Business Region EMEA. This position will be fundamental for the continued success of Permobil’s business in Europe and will be part of the management team for the region.

The Role

  • Create a customer oriented organization with outstanding business mind-set and high degree of customer knowledge
  • Lead the entire Commercial Operation’s organization that consists of approximately 80 employees in 8 countries
  • Build a Commercial Operations management team with 5-7 direct reporting
  • Full cost-center responsibility for the region
  • Professionalize the Customer Service and consolidate into regional hubs and shared service, optimize order-to-invoice tools and processes, provide 1st line customer service in local language and handshake 3rd line technical support from the respective Business Units
  • Daily measuring measure KPIs and follow customer satisfaction externally
  • Clarify internal processes with a high portion of lean thinking and practices, and work with internal SLA’s to our business unit entities and measure our customer satisfaction externally
  • Be a part of the EMEA’s management team and directly report to President Business Region EMEA
  • Strengthening our ‘one face to customer’ idea in the countries taking orders, questions and represent the entire group. Backing up our front-end sales force with excellent back-office support

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience, focus on change management and/or digitalization of industrial processes
  • Minimum 5 years management experience with more than 20 people (managing managers preferred)
  • University degree in engineering appreciated
  • Experience from a company with production, customer service and/or customer logistics
  • International work experience, either abroad or in an international organization
  • Highly knowledgeable in stakeholder management.
