Business Manager

Europeiska ERV is one of the largest niche insurance players on the Swedish market, with the core focus on delivering various travel insurance offerings towards both leisure and corporate travelers. In Sweden, ERV annually insure over 1.2 million travelers and more than 7 million bank and credit cards. In addition, ERV also provide all risk insurance for watches and jewelry. Do you want to be a key player and part of a Nordic team in a global group? ERV is now looking for a Business Manager that is to be part of the Nordic Business Management unit. 

The key responsibility for the ideal candidate is to secure the commercialising of various offerings and that they are adapted to meet various customer groups and partner needs. Overall, the focus for the Offering Manager is to take active part in delivering high quality customer experience throughout the customer life cycle and to secure that the offering portfolio is both competitive and profitable over time.

 

As an Business Manager your are responsible to lead and develop the offerings to secure that the ERV market position and strategic direction in our different Lines of Business in a Nordic context, is upheld.

 

You report to Nordic Head of Business Management. 

 

Key area responsibilities

  • You will plan for and secure growth and development of offerings dealing with the planning, forecasting and Go to market activities according to set targets
  • Plan for and initiate sales and marketing activities on new and existing offerings adjusted for different customer segments and/or different distribution channels
  • Accountable for building offering roadmaps and release management that guides and promotes activities for Marketing and Sales.
  • Plan and secure offering introductions and updates that include processes/workflows and training- and education sessions for channels.
  • Identify customer needs, define and secure the development of new offerings to meet those needs
  • Analyse market requirements, determine businesscase and ensure that offerings are within premium and commission margins to ensure market relevance.
  • Interacts with other parts of the organisation, such as Sales, Marketing and Customer Support to ensure best in class offerings over time.

 

Required experience

  • Academic degree in relevant area of Economics or Law.
  • Commercial insight in customer segmentation and mapping to customer needs
  • Channel Management, Offering and/or Sales Management
  • Customer Experience and Offering Life Cycle management
  • Road map and Release management
