We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced web analyst to join our new agile marketing teams. You will play an important role in our ambitious digitalization journey where we see data and analytics as a core enabler. Our mission is to turn our digital channels into major sales, service and user engagement channels.

As Web analyst you will analyze and optimize our marketing and sales campaigns towards both new and existing customers. You will work as part of agile teams with specialists from marketing, sales, product, analytics, content, design and CRM. You will also collaborate closely with your peers in web analytics and with colleagues responsible for web development, UX, SEO, CRO etc. – all working on our common agenda to significantly increase our share of digital sales, service and user engagement.

You will act both as a specialist representing your own area of expertise, and as a team member who defines hypotheses and executes, analyzes and optimizes campaigns and other sales initiatives together with the other specialists in your team. Your primary focus is to provide actionable insights from marketing and sales funnel analysis and to suggest and follow up improvement initiatives and experiments. You will get the chance to work with large volumes of traffic and customer data as well as the opportunity to work with premium tools like Google Analytics 360, Adobe Marketing Cloud, and tools from Telenor Group’s own AdTech company Tapad. Since we work with fast iterations and experiments, you will be able to quickly go from analysis to hypothesis and execution.

Core responsibilities.

  • Analyze performance of marketing and sales campaigns end-to-end, primarily using Google Analytics 360, but also Google Optimize, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Hotjar, Firebase etc.
  • Monitor and proactively recommend improvements to campaign and website performance through analysis of traffic, customer audiences, user behavior, conversion effectiveness, abandonment points, website usability etc.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to improve marketing ROI, web conversion rates, digital share of sales, average revenue per user, NPS and other key metrics.
  • Work as a member of a cross-functional team to improve campaign efficiency and the digital experience for our customers.
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc metrics and reports for various business and functional stakeholders
  • Work with other stakeholders to establish KPIs for marketing campaigns, site enhancements etc.
  • Plan, implement and follow up tests as well as personalize content towards different customer segments
  • Continuously develop our abilities within digital analysis through close collaboration with your peers within web analytics. Share learnings and insights and collaborate on Telenor’s overall data and analytics agenda, roadmap and priorities.
  • Assist in the development of new reporting tools & capabilities

Requested experience.

  • At least 2-4 years’ experience with website and digital marketing analytics, preferably with experience from e-commerce
  • Solid knowledge of Google Analytics, as well as good overall understanding of the entire Google product suite (Adwords, Tag Manager, Optimize, etc.). Alternatively, solid knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud (Analytics, Audience Manager and Target)
  • Proven ability to develop clear and concise reports, insights and recommendations and a track record of delivering concrete business impact 
  • Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Experience from Conversion Optimization (CRO), Growth Hacking, AB testing, App Analysis, Audience Management and Personalization, SEO or Agile Marketing is highly meritorious
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics best practices
  • Academic degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
