Country Manager Germany

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, independent and growth-oriented leader to oversee the German market. You will serve as a catalyst for the company and market’s ongoing growth. As a leader of one of our largest markets within the organization, you will take an active part in the development of the program and development of staff among three national offices. Additionally you will be required to develop and execute on business expansion needs and exercise your sales and marketing muscles to ultimately bring your team to success. 

In this role you will head up a sales team located in several cities in Germany. Your focus and success will be determined by running your team and driving the business. Your tasks will also include lead generation through various of sources both online and offline, customer service and planning (and manage) the budget. The role is reporting to Sales Director Culture Care Au Pair and is based in Berlin.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Responsibility for P&L, results, teams, and growth strategies. 
  • Cultivate direct sales and development of sales strategies.
  • Drive local marketing and advertising initiatives in digital and off-line channels.
  • Analyze local market needs and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure excellence in operations, customer service and support.
  • Help recruit, develop and manage your team.
  • Collaborate with central departments to implement local initiatives.

The Country Manager role is a popular launch-pad for an international carrier. You will operate in a truly international environment leading a team of 20 in total, including 3 team leads. In this role you will be travelling both domestic and international. Requirements.

  • Marketing/Business Administration Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree
  • + 4 years of work experience, preferably in sales and/or marketing
  • + 2 years of leadership experience with proven ability
  • Experience in sales management in a KPI-driven environment.
  • International experience (study/work) or experience in an international environment
  • Mother tongue German and fluency in English.

You are hands on and have no problem rolling up your sleeves and getting things done to support your teams.
