BU Manager Dunderdon

The purpose of this role is to develop, implement and execute on short and long term business plans and budgets for the operation of the Business Unit, in close cooperation between the BU team and HGs common resources.

The position reports to the CEO but is not a member of HG management team. There will be an informal Board of Directors to which the BU reports progress. The Board will consist of external/internal Directors and group experts within, i.e: Business Development, E-Commerce, Branding, Digital Marketing, Logistics, HR.

Main tasks

  • Establish deep customer insight (rational and irrational) about the defined target group
  • Collect external learnings from the Dunderdon History in Lifestyle, Hultafors Group´s Workwear Channel Customers and internal key learnings from i.e Sales Operations
  • Refine the Brand Platform and define a clear Brand Strategy in cooperation with Group Marketing.
  • Define a sustainable assortment strategy within the Lifestyle and Workwear segment.
  • Define a total customer offer, based on insights from the target group
  • Build the Dunderdon brand in Lifestyle, i.e with a:

Selective channel approach

Build a network of ambassadors and/or influencers

Digital Marketing

Growth hacking (selected communities)

  • Ensure innovation and development of related value proposition. Ensure reliable, on time, cost effective product-availability and master data related to the BU products.
  •  Establish a small but efficient organizational set-up, with processes, roles, organization and external ecosystem.
  • Ensure everyday activities and budget directly associated with BU (Business Unit result).

The Successful Candidate

We are looking for a business minded and entrepreneurial person. To succeed in this role you must possess the following as a minimum:

  • Commercial experience from Retail, preferably from Workwear/Fashion/Outdoor clothing/Lifestyle segments
  • Experience from selling through e-commerce and working with strong brand(s), B2B/B2C
  • Brand building
  • Go-to-market tool box
  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership capabilities
