Ankorstore is on a fast growth journey and as an essential part of the establishment of the Nordic team, we are now looking for our Head of Sales Nordics to help drive the growth of Ankorstore in the Nordics. Reporting to the General Manager Nordics, the Head of Sales Nordics’ key mission is to become the largest B2B marketplace in Europe.

You will be responsible for leading the company sales performance and have direct oversight of all commercial activities in the country including in particular merchants acquisition, merchants management & category development.


Your role will be focused on finding the right partners, both on brands (supply) and retail (demand) sides to develop the business and hit our targets. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Drive the topline of the country P&L
  • Define, in partnership with your GM, the sales strategy for Nordics to hit the company objectives
  • Implement the relevant go to market to acquire brands and retailers (merchants)
  • Recruiting high calibre profiles to build the team
  • Managing a team in charge of merchants acquisition, merchants management, sourcing operations and category management (up to 35 people)
  • Scaling the team and processes to support the growth of the company
  • Set KPIs & financial targets designed to scale
  • Continuously improve our sales funnel process: from pitching a prospect to making sure they become our best advocate on the platform
  • Meeting key merchants to negotiate partnerships, contracts and service level agreements
  • Work closely with the GM to identify new partners in the region to grow source of revenues
  • Leading country related specific projects
  • Ensuring regular and quality reporting of team actions and results
  • Work closely with the central teams in Paris:
  • the Growth team to manage SDRs sales funnels : identifying interesting source of leads and making sure enough meetings are secured
  • the Product team to share and prioritize features based on our users feedbacks


  • +5 years of experience in Sales
  • +2 years experience as high performing Team Leader, Head of Sales, Head of Business Development
  • Successfully built or scaled sales departments in a high growth environment
  • Experience in managing a team, setting compensation and performance based metrics
  • Experience coaching and mentoring junior sales staff
  • Experience with both inbound/ outbound acquisition as well as Account Management and Customer success
  • B2B sales in a fast growing company
  • Knowledge of the wholesale industry
