Operations Manager

VEAT was founded in 2019 by Andreas Karlsson, who struggled to find plant-based foods that didn’t compromise on taste and quality. In the beginning of 2020, VEAT launched its first plant-based vending machines in Stockholm, with the simple goal to make healthy, sustainable food affordable and accessible. Already, the concept has attracted several high-profile investors to the company’s pre-seed round, including Pale Blue Dot and Purple Orange Ventures. VEAT’s first machines are situated in department stores, co-working spaces, and the headquarters of large corporations. But the company hopes to expand to hospitals, universities, and public transport too.

VEAT is the next-generation grab & go food. Our ambition is to make the tastiest, most sustainable food available, and accessible to all. At the end of 2020, we launched our first vending machines that offer 100% plant-based foods in Stockholm, Sweden, and today we have thousands of loyal customers. The meals are made locally by our Michelin-starred chefs at our Stora Essingen HQ.

We are a VC-backed startup based in Stockholm. Our plans for 2021 and beyond are bold and delicious. To achieve our growth ambitions of quickly scaling VEAT to major cities across Europe we are now expanding the team with a key player.
