Stayhard is among the market leaders of Men’s fashion online in Sweden with over 10 million visits yearly and assortment consist of Apparel, Shoes, Face&Body, Accessories and Lifestyle products and on top of this newly launched Studio Teens which is a department with Teenage fashion only. The company is in the middle of an exciting journey where its Private Label Studio Total has grown significantly past years and is today an essential part of the business and an important strategic cornerstone going forward with significant growth potential.

The role

Stayhard is now looking for a new CMO who is passionate about executing digital marketing strategies and has a proven attitude for working within the e-commerce and digital performance and brand marketing arena.

The CMO will join as the expert in the management team for driving well working existing, but also new, full funnel marketing (primarily digital focused) initiatives, that will focus on translating digital upper funnel brand building initiatives into visitors and finally conversions and loyal customers, resulting in growing the business and developing and improving the marketing efficiency in upper, middle and lower funnel channels in all markets. In the role you will have the overall responsibility for setting the goals, budget, strategy, execution and follow up (KPIs) for all marketing channels that applies to Stayhard’s digital marketing investments. In other words, actively participating and leading both long term but also managing the day-to-day operative work in-house for the marketing- and e-commerce department, and also for all external relations/partners for these functions.

As CMO, you will be responsible for results, cost control, and development of the marketing channels. In addition, you are expected to find new ways, within the scope of the area, where the company can maximize its sales in relation to customer satisfaction, customer activation and best possible cost.


  • Lead Stayhard Marketing & Sales department with full personnel responsibility.
  • Growing the Stayhard Brand digitally as a top of mind destination for Men’s fashion online
  • Key measures to follow up on marketing investments that ensures wanted ROI.
  • Keeping up-to-date on new developments and technology in the industry and initiate implementation projects accordingly
  • Plan and coordinate activity plans and campaigns both on e-store campaign plan and marketing plan.
  • Ownership of strategically and operationally developing game changing marketing plans, both design and implementation
  • Operationally responsible for creating, executing, and reporting on marketing activities with right KPIs in place to base decisions on
  • Continuously work to develop and optimize Stayhard marketing budget allocation
  • Develop and implement accurate KPIs and objectives for the division and the team
  • Ensure that all internal and external communication is aligned with strategy and Stayhard brand guidelines
  • Demonstrate a strong, clear, inclusive, open minded, hands on and team-oriented leadership style
  • Establish a clear and effective reporting process to the CEO and other stakeholders
  • Work proactively together with internal as well as external partners
  • Ensuring all marketing campaigns work undertaken is driving sales towards each market and overall business
  • Drive a teamwide curiosity to stay up-to-date within new digital marketing trends

What we are looking for

  • 5 years of minimum experience in performance online marketing ideally in an established e-commerce / digital business environment
  • Experience of leading teams (minimum 3 years)
  • P&L experience
  • Marketing budget responsibility (setting, follow up and monitoring) in earlier position a must
  • Sharp strategic and analytical skills to improve market performances and strategies
  • Advance knowledge in marketing & customer analysis and digital market trends
  • Experience in working with among many but not limited to a wide spectra of Digital Marketing channels such as:
  • Paid Channels: SEM, PLA, Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat etc), Influencer Marketing, You Tube/Video, Display, Affiliate network
  • Non Paid Channels: SEO, CRM (email/SMS)
  • Experience of Growing a Digital Brand online and increase brand knowledge to drive traffic growth within Brand channels such as Direct traffic and Google Brand search traffic etc
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Experience from working with relevant metrics and KPI’s
  • Strong analytical mindset but with attention to over all marketing message including details such as sales converting and CTR triggers in communication but also oven all Brand voice
  • Sales driven analytical marketer with an ‘visual eye’ to grasp the over all marketing message coming from Stayhard
