We’re now looking for a Head of Growth to join our team and take the lead of growing our user base and improving our usage metrics. Bower is a service that is loved in Sweden and our growth has been almost 100% organic. We are growing at a rapid rate and you will be a driving force to accelerate our growth even further, especially to countries outside of the Nordics (e.g we just entered the UK).

But you won’t be alone! In this position, you’ll get company from our two amazing creative content managers who will also report to you. Moreover, you’ll be working closely to our sales and design team, most likely be part of our strategic forum and report to the COO. Putting it like this, it sounds very formal and corporate, but working at Bower is actually more like coming to a place where 25 of your friends and family are gathered, doing what they all love, towards a goal they all genuinely believe in – every day. Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for all digital communication reaching the end user – either directly, or indirectly through our B2B customers – primarily with the goal of increasing user acquisition, but also to increase retention rates
  • Leading our two Creative Content Leads and one Marketing Automation Lead
  • Driving Bower’s user acquisition with consideration of the entire growth funnel (acquisition, activation, retention, referral, revenue)
  • Planning and executing on a digital marketing plan to support Bower’s user acquisition targets
  • Innovating and trying new concepts and hacks to accelerate digital marketing outcomes in cost- and time-efficient ways
  • Developing and implementing marketing automation processes
  • Writing compelling copy and marketing messaging for Bower’s communication channels
  • Continuously developing and creating website content to generate stronger conversion of app downloads
  • Collaborating with the sales team to ensure maximum outcome from marketing communication campaigns

Skills, Traits, and Competencies:

  • At least 4 years of experience within digital marketing
  • Experience from working with marketing in mobile apps 
  • Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g. Adwords, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin) and marketing automation tools (e.g. Braze)
  • Being able to independently lead and carry out the tasks required to create a well-functioning digital marketing division
  • Experience from leading people, informally or formally 
  • Strong written and communication skills in Swedish and English to write compelling messaging
  • Demonstrate grit and innovative approach to drive marketing KPIs with new marketing initiatives
  • Comfortable with data-driven approach to performance
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on and growth-minded
