Head of Commercial, RoomSense

The demand for life cycle management with high security and pro-activity is rapidly increasing among our current and new customers and thus we have decided to establish a new business unit that will be responsible for our new software offering, RoomSense.

RoomSense is a monitoring tool specifically designed for the AV and entertainment industry. An integrated system leveraging IT and AV industry standards to bring automation and monitoring capabilities to large AV installations. RoomSense provides insights about the devices and spaces within a client’s AV system. By aggregating the status of all system devices, the client can gain an overview of the entire system through a single application.

We are now looking for a Head of Commercial that can lead our business development and growth for our new business unit RoomSense, a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. RoomSense is planned to be rolled out globally through partners and direct sales.

Key responsibilities

  • Build a new global business and take full ownership of shaping and delivering the growth strategy.
  • Define and align vision and strategy and establish a product roadmap, investment plans and constant business development to maximise the potential.
  • Lead a small but growing direct team as well as a strong indirect leadership role together with the already established companies.
  • P&L responsible for the unit i.e revenues and costs.
  • Customer offering incl. packaging and pricing, sales channels, development, marketing.
  • Establish strong and long term partnerships and customer relationships.
  • Part of Group Management team.

This role as Head of Commercial is placed in Stockholm, Alviksstrand and reports to Managing Director.

Relevant experience and qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience from senior commercial positions within the software industry B2B.
  • Experience from sales and partner management within solution sales, system sales and value-creating sales.
  • Experience from leading a team and build trust with both colleagues and customers and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Proven record of working with both strategical and operational tasks.
  • University degree in Economics, Technology or other education relevant for this position.
  • Fluent in English. Swedish, Finnish and other languages is a plus.
  • A merit if you have worked with audiovisual products and solutions.
