Skanska Group HQ HR is lead by Head of Group HQ HR, and consists of another three HR Business Partners. All work broadly and comprehensively with HR issues, both strategically and operationally. The HQ organization currently has about 240 employees, most of whom are located in Sweden, but also in US, UK, Poland, Czech, Finland and Norway. HR Business Partners work closely with managers on all levels in the organization.

The position

We are now looking for a senior HRBP to be part of our team. Your mission will be to develop people and organization at Skanska Group HQ by purposefully executing and implementing the HR strategy. You will also be a reliable HR Business Partner to support business success and provide coaching, support, and development in close collaboration and relationship with the managers in the business.

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Be a role model and ambassador for HR business partnership across the corporate headquarters in line with Skanska’s corporate values.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business and add value through relevant and structured activities.
  • Provide strategic and operational support to managers. Build trust and collaborative relationships with managers to execute and implement the HR strategy.
  • ”Talent & Sourcing,” Learning & Development, ”Compensation & Benefits,” Culture, Health & Well-being, Organization & Resource Planning, Leadership, etc.

Annual HR Processes

  • ”Performance Review,” Goals, Salary Review, Short-term Incentives, Employee Surveys, Talent Review, etc.
  • Operational Support
  • Labor Law, Governance, Rehabilitation, Pre-, On- and Offboarding, Performance, HR Administration, Mobility, Union Relations, Workplace Safety, etc.

Previous Experience

  • At least 8 years of qualified HR work, including areas such as Talent Management, Leadership & Values, and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Swedish labor law, recruitment capability and experience, coaching ability, the capacity to understand and translate business strategy into HR-related actions.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other relevant IT tools.
  • Experience with complex HR projects, reorganizations, etc.
  • Experience and understanding of the entirety within HR; attract, recruit, develop, retain, and exit (ARUBA).

  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to interact with individuals at different levels – group management, operational managers, and employees (ability to navigate in a ”political” environment).
