As Head of Sales Food for the UK & Ireland, you will lead the transformation of a mission-oriented business into the number one choice for professional food solutions. You’ll shape a high-performing and customer-obsessed organisation, setting the strategic direction and driving commercial success. Reporting to the VP Nordics & UK/I and Commercial Excellence for Food Europe, you’ll take full P&L ownership and inspire a team that thrives on excellence, collaboration, and delivering real customer value.

Responsibilities and Key Tasks:

  • Lead the Food division in the UK & Ireland, including full P&L responsibility
  • Remote leadership across UK&I
  • Drive net sales growth (finished goods and aftermarket/service), profitability, and customer/employee satisfaction
  • Manage all sales and commercial activities within Food UK&I
  • Build a best-in-class customer experience by ensuring excellence through partners and service
  • Actively lead the management team for Food UK&I
  • Oversee marketing strategy and execution for the Food business in the region
  • Launch new products with impact and clarity
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for channel/category growth based on “Jobs To Be Done” (JTBD)
  • Manage the commercial policy including pricing, account planning, and contract management
  • Drive team development through coaching and structured 1:1s
  • Ensure phase-in/phase-out management and handle slow-moving/obsolete inventory
  • Oversee sales activation and opportunity pipeline in Salesforce.com
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver unified commercial and marketing campaigns
  • Drive digitalisation initiatives across UK&I
  • Represent local market needs and competitor insights to the broader organisation
  • Champion Electrolux Professional’s value proposition and North Star Culture

Previous Experience and Background:

  • Minimum 10 years of senior sales leadership within the professional food solutions or related B2B sector
  • Proven track record in driving commercial growth and leading diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Strong grasp of the professional food customer landscape in the UK & Ireland
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce.com is a plus)
  • Competent in IT systems and tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Working knowledge of UK/I labour law
  • Business education preferred (BSc or MSc in Business Administration)
