Wiraya

Key Account Manager – Finland

Wiraya is a Nordic SaaS company that helps financial services organisations automate customer communication — driving smarter collections, reducing credit losses, and improving customer engagement at scale. We work with some of the most demanding clients in the financial sector, including debt collection agencies, credit consumer companies, and banks across the Nordics.Following the acquisition of On-Time, we are deepening our commitment to Finland, our top priority markets alongside Sweden. This new role is a direct result of that ambition.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will own Wiraya’s commercial presence in Finland end-to-end. This is not a narrow sales role and it is not a pure account management role — it is both. You will be the face of Wiraya to our Finnish customers, responsible for their success and growth, and at the same time you will be actively hunting and developing new logos in the market.

Some of our Finnish customers prefer to communicate entirely in Finnish, and we want you to be the person they genuinely want to call. At the same time, you will have a commercial budget, a pipeline to build, and results to deliver. You will collaborate and be supported by our Customer Success Team with onboarding projects and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Identify and target new prospects in Finland, with a primary focus on debt collection agencies, credit consumer companies.
  • Build and manage a structured sales pipeline, guiding opportunities from initial contact through to signed contract.
  • Lead complex, consultative sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and long decision cycles.
  • Develop and execute a market strategy for Finland in alignment with overall company priorities.
  • Represent Wiraya at relevant industry events and client meetings in Finland when appropriate.

Account Growth & Customer Success

  • Own the commercial relationship with Wiraya’s existing Finnish customers—ensuring retention, satisfaction, and expansion.
  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Finnish customers.
  • Coordinate and support customer onboarding projects in close collaboration with the CS team.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the Finnish market, feeding back insights on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and product improvement opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • Fluent Finnish, essential for building trust and confidence with Finnish-speaking customers.
  • Fluent English, required for internal collaboration and international client communication.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex B2B sales with multi-stakeholder decision processes and longer sales cycles.
  • A background in, or direct experience selling to, debt collection agencies, credit consumer companies, banks, or adjacent financial services organisations.
  • A genuine commercial drive: you are motivated by targets, energised by closing deals, and accountable for results.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, you earn trust over time and are as invested in your customers’ success as your own numbers.
  • Resilience and a constructive response to setbacks, sales is hard, and you know how to keep going.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-moving, lean organisation.
  • Based in Stockholm, the role is office-based (with flexibility), we love building energy together in person.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and key account management.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and how it can drive sales efficiency, you embrace new tools and are eager to find smarter ways to work.

Nice to Have

  • Swedish language skills, a meaningful advantage given our Stockholm base and wider Nordic customer portfolio.
  • Experience working with SaaS, automation, or customer communication platforms.
  • Familiarity with credit, collections, or receivables management processes from the inside, having worked at such a company is a real plus.
  • Interest in AI and automation, genuine curiosity about these themes is valued here.
  • Numerical and data literacy, comfort discussing data and metrics with analytically minded clients.

The Profile

We are not looking for a high-pressure, pitch-first salesperson. We want someone who is a genuine product enthusiast, someone who believes in what Wiraya does and can articulate that belief clearly and compellingly to different audiences, whether that is a CFO, a collections director, or an operations lead.

You are consultative by instinct. You listen carefully, ask the right questions, understand the customer’s real situation, and then propose solutions that actually fit. You negotiate with integrity and build agreements that both sides feel good about.

You are strategic. You do not just respond to inbound leads or chase every opportunity that appears, you think about which customers and segments to prioritise, where the real potential lies, and how to approach the market with a plan that compounds over time.

And you are relationship-oriented at your core. In the Nordic financial services world, trust is built slowly and lost quickly. You understand this, and you show up for your customers consistently, not just when there is a renewal on the line.

What We Offer

  • A priority market with real strategic backing, Finland matters deeply to us, and you will feel that in the resources and attention we invest.
  • Competitive base salary plus a performance-based variable that meaningfully rewards strong results.
  • A warm foundation to build on—the On-Time acquisition brings existing customer relationships and a head-start in the market.
  • Stockholm as your home base, with flexibility and regular travel to Finland as needed.
  • A lean, high-trust team where your contributions are visible, decisions move fast, and there is real room to grow.
