The position is within a small corporate team, which is responsible for Investor Relations, Media Relations, Sustainability and Corporate Strategy. A degree of flexibility will be required across the function but the role has two main responsibilities; firstly, working within the Investor Relations team to help deliver a concise and focused investor relations strategy; and secondly, working with Corporate Strategy to analyze business trends across the Hexagon Group and assisting with background analysis on larger M&A projects. The role provides involvement in a broad range of strategic activities.

Main responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing material for all investor communications, including press releases, quarterly and annual reports, capital markets days, road shows and other public documents.
  • Compile and analyze buy and sell-side analyst financial models on the company. Generate ”consensus” models for internal analysis.
  • Over time, communicate with the capital markets on Hexagon’s investor relations topics.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of valuation drivers for the company, the sector and competitors. Follow and analyze relevant macro statistics.
  • Closely following stock ownership and trading trends compared to industry peers.
  • Competitive analysis which include analysis of competitor results, disclosures and market trends.
  • Analyze the company’s business activities, results and KPI’s, and set up an internal reporting structure.
  • Over time, assist in M&A activities such as market research activities and analysing potential M&A targets.

Education / work experience

  • 1-3 years experience from Business Controlling/Analytics, finance, Investor Relations or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand the company’s financial results, stock market and financial data, and the ability to interpret the information.
  • Good communication skills (written, oral) in both Swedish and English.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Academic degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent

The position is based in Stockholm at Hexagons offices at Lilla Bantorget 15, and reports to the Head of Investor Relations.
