Supplier Quality Manager

Overall Purpose of the Role

The Supplier Quality Manager will lead a Supplier Quality Assurance team responsible for ensuring that the Operations & Logistics departments, including its supply chains, develop their process to secure qualitative and sustainable delivery on Clear Channels Scandinavia’s end customer’s needs. In cooperation with three Operations Managers who owns the commercial relationship with the supplier base, the Supplier Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers continuously develop capable and sustainable processes with a net zero impact on the environment. While providing leadership and outstanding people skills the Supplier Quality Manager will materialize any opportunity for the Supplier Quality Assurance team and the supplier base to learn from occurred deviations, but not accept any.

General and Task Management

  • Lead a Supplier Quality Assurance team consisting of around five team members being responsible for developing and managing supplier quality and sustainability including the implementation of ISO9001 and ISO14001 throughout all of Clear Channel Scandinavia.
  • Secure a real net zero carbon dioxide impact on the environment from Clear Channel Scandinavia’s operations by latest year 2030.
  • Secure capable and robust supplier process through active collaboration with the suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities
  • Manage root cause analysis and corrective actions on supplier quality issues through on-site supplier visits.
  • Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain
  • Lead quality audits for suppliers
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance

People Management

  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing Supplier Quality Assurance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
  • Motivate and coach the team to strategical, tactical and operational success
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in Swedish and English.

  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making

Qualifications and Experience Levels

  • Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience
  • Documented experience of leading supplier quality assurance on operational, tactical and strategical level.
  • Relevant practical experience from implementing and maintaining quality and environmental sustainability management systems in multinational companies and supply chains.
  • Excellent project management skills, from both a technical and administrative standpoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Effective communications skills (written, verbal and presentation) in Swedish and English.
