QBank is a rapidly growing Scale-up/SaaS company specializing in Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions. We are seeking a passionate and visionary leader to join our team as the Head of Development. With a focus on innovation, we aim to continue our trajectory of success by delivering cutting-edge products and expanding our market presence.

As the Head of Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our organization. You will lead our talented development team, shaping the future of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) product. By combining your operational and strategic expertise, you will guide the technical decisions that propel us further on our growth journey. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and influence our medium-sized company, where your ideas and opinions will be highly valued.

The role is reporting directly to CEO and is a part of the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development team in the design, development, and deployment of our Digital Asset Management (DAM) product delivered as a SaaS in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Manage the software development life cycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align our solutions with business needs.
  • Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability of our products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and JavaScript.
  • Basic knowledge of PHP.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis and ElasticSearch is meritorious.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development, including expertise in AWS.
  • Demonstrated success in leading development teams and delivering software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
