Interim Senior HR Manager

On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are searching for an Interim Senior HR Manager, who will manage the HR Agenda n the Swedish organization.

As Sr HR Manager you will build and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders and proactively support the organization to deliver high-quality services. You will collaborate with Cluster HR, Shared Services, HRBPs, and business leaders to provide advice and support throughout the employee lifecycle. The role focuses on key initiatives like talent management, recruitment, performance and compensation, learning and development, workforce planning, and mobility.

This is a 12 month interim position starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving HR initiatives across Sweden in line with strategic objectives.
  • Ensuring HR policies comply with labor laws and contracts, working closely with the local Union.
  • Delivering end-to-end HR services, maintaining high standards and compliance.
  • Reviewing job descriptions, advising on compensation, and supporting global reward programs.
  • Partnering with recruiting teams to meet workforce needs and manage the hiring process.
  • Managing employee relations, leading investigations, and coaching managers.
  • Collaborating on workforce planning and organizational design to ensure compliance and fair outcomes.
  • Leading talent reviews and translating development needs into HR strategies.
  • Overseeing Learning and Development initiatives, coordinating with external providers, and driving improvements.
  • Resolving complex HR issues, often with limited precedent.
  • Leading or collaborating on HR projects to support business goals.
  • Providing strategic HR analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Implementing continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Playing an active role in the Senior Leadership team to drive engagement and inclusive culture, including wellbeing plans.
  • Using HR systems like Workday, Smartsource, and Tableau for accurate reporting and data management.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
  • HR Business Partnering experience in Sweden in a similar role with CoEs and HR Shared Service Centre is preferable
  • Profound experience and knowledge of the whole HR Scope
  • Capable and willing work both strategically and operationally
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Resilient, agile, and comfortable with change.
  • High analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Experience in dynamic organizations.
