About the product

Planta is an intelligent plant care app designed to assist users in maintaining healthy and thriving plants. Planta is the ultimate intelligent plant care app, built to help users grow healthy, thriving plants with ease. At the heart of Planta is a personalized, smart care schedule tailored to each plant’s unique needs. The app also features the beloved Dr. Planta tool, which diagnoses sick plants and recommends the right treatment to bring them back to life. But we don’t stop at indoor care — We’re expanding into garden and outdoor plant support as well. With the recent launch of Planta Market, a fully integrated e-commerce platform, users can now shop for top-quality plants and accessories right in the app. Plus, Planta’s growing social community connects plant lovers from around the world to share tips, inspiration, and green success stories.

Your mission

As our first dedicated Partnership Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling Planta’s presence in the physical gardening and plant retail world. Your work will have a high impact, driving Planta’s next stage of global growth and brand visibility. Imagine hundreds of thousands of new plant owners getting a seamless bridge from buying a plant in-store to caring for it at home — thanks to partnerships you make happen.

You will:

  • Shape the roadmap for Planta’s partnership strategy.
  • Take full ownership of developing, negotiating, and activating local and global partnerships with brands, growers, retailers, and gardening ecosystems.
  • Design smart, measurable collaborations -driving new user acquisition and revenue growth. 
  • Ensure alignment across all partnership touchpoints within the customer journey.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all partners, ensuring win-win relationships that last.
  • Collaborate closely with Planta’s founders, marketing, product, and plant experts to test, iterate, and scale ideas fast.

Previous Background

  • +5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and company (partnerships, business development, or commercial growth for consumer products or retail).
  • University degree is a plus but not required.
  • Fluent in both English and Swedish (required).
