We are looking for a New Business Director to lead our commercial activities in Sweden that is aimed at driving growth from new business. Thereby contributing to our goal partnering with leading brands and companies in Sweden and beyond, delivering profitable growth, while maintaining Framna’s premium brand positioning in the market.

You will be part of the extended leadership and work closely with peers to ensure our go-to-market strategy aligns with Framna’s ‘Win by Product’ positioning and our ‘Product First’ offering. Developing market opportunities and pursuing potential engagements.

In the role, you will be leading other team members that are commercially focused, hereunder those that work new business, demand generation, and sales operations. You’ll also be working closely with Marketing in both Sweden and Globally, as well as be part of our global commercial community with members in other markets.

Your means to achieving results will be through: 

  • A commercial excellence operating model, which you’ll be setting up and implementing with a focus on new business growth.
  • Close alignment to marketing activities for lead generation and brand building.
  • Orchestration of impactful sales pursuits for the opportunities we identify.

The role is located in the office in central Stockholm and reports to the Commercial Director, Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growth & Revenue: Lead the new business revenue strategy for Sweden, ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Collaboration & Orchestration: Work cross-functionally with commercial team, marketing, product team, and competence areas to contribute meaningfully to commercial growth activities. Building more awareness of the commercial agenda, including how everyone across Framna Sweden can contribute to this. 
  • New Business: Facilitate our proactive engagement with potential partners, building a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities.
  • Pursuits & Deal Closing: Support or lead high-value pursuits and pitches, as well as contract negotiations to ensure strong commercial outcomes.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience or a high performing talent in previous commercial roles (e.g., Business Development, Client Partnerships, Sales) within a digital product agency, design studio, consultancy, or similar.
  • Strong track record in leading outbound and inbound commercial activities that are aimed at new business clients, including collaborating closely with Marketing for this.
  • Experience working with senior-level clients across business, product, and tech.
  • Deep understanding of value-based selling, premium positioning, and complex consultative sales.
  • Skilled at identifying, creating, and converting commercial opportunities — both from new and existing clients.
  • Established network within Sweden’s digital and tech landscape.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English.
  • Familiarity with agency business models and service-based sales (not standardized tech products).
  • Comfortable working across marketing, growth, and delivery in a collaborative, integrated model.
