We’re looking for a Technical Sales Lead to drive Skye’s commercial growth across Europe — through both direct sales and strategic partnerships with OEMs, manufacturing control systems, integrators, and technology players.

This is a high-impact, outward-facing role at the intersection of technology, business development, and industrial energy. You’ll combine technical fluency with commercial drive to identify opportunities, win new customers, and scale partner-driven revenue. As one of our early hires, you’ll collaborate closely with the founding team to design and execute Skye’s go-to-market strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute to Skyes growth strategy — shape GTM, pricing and packaging as a key member our commercial leadership team
  • Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing — with industrial clients across Europe.
  • Help define how Skye shall integrate with partners and translate customer unique industrial processes into Skye manageable flexible loads — work closely with process & production specialists to integrate controllable energy loads into Skye technology platform
  • Drive revenue through partners — jointly generate and close new business opportunities with partner organizations.
  • Build & manage strategic relationships — with customers and partners like OEMs, manufacturing control systems, asset optimizers and technology players
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Trading to tailor solutions and deliver impact for shared customers.
  • Represent Skye externally — at partner meetings, industry events, and ecosystem gatherings.

Who you are

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in business development, B2B sales — ideally within industrial technology or process automation.
  • Proven track record from developing partnerships and managing c-level relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen and proven results from a high-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly structured, analytical, and driven; thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments.
