Interim CCO

For an established and successful company in the technology and innovation sector, we are now looking for an Interim Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). The company delivers advanced solutions that support critical infrastructure and business operations across Europe. The organization is currently in an exciting growth phase with a clear focus on expanding its offering and driving international growth.

The role is strategically important and entails overall responsibility for sales and marketing, with a strong emphasis on leadership, structure, and business development.

The assignment is expected to last 7–8 months, starting in April. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Assignment overview

  • Lead and develop the sales and marketing organization, consisting of four regional sales managers (Nordics, UK, France, and Germany) as well as the Bid Management function
  • Hold full people management responsibility and drive performance at both individual and team level
  • Ensure structure, processes, and quality in sales execution and tender management
  • Be part of the executive management team and contribute strategically to the company’s continued development
  • Work closely with other functions in a matrix organization

Experience and personal attributes

We are looking for a commercially driven and structured leader with strong international experience and the ability to build sustainable processes.

You have:

  • Solid experience in complex, international B2B sales and bid management
  • Documented experience in public procurement
  • Strong track record of working with performance management and targets
  • Experience in building structure and following up on processes
  • Background in management consulting or experience from a scale-up environment is considered a strong advantage
  • Technical understanding is beneficial but not a requirement
