Backed by Monterro, we are entering our most ambitious growth phase to date, with a clear objective to scale recurring revenue 5 x. This requires focus, pace – and a scalable go-to-market engine.

The role

As Head of Marketing & Demand Generation, you will take full ownership of Weissr’s marketing function and build it from the ground up. This is a strategically critical role with a clear commercial mandate: to create predictable, scalable demand among large enterprise customers and translate marketing efforts into qualified pipeline and revenue.

You will define how Weissr is positioned in the market, shape our category narrative, and ensure that our message resonates with senior decision-makers such as CFOs, Heads of Capex, Group Controllers and executive leadership teams. Working closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product, you will play a central role in how Weissr grows. Initially, the role combines strategic responsibility with hands-on execution. Over time, there is a clear opportunity to build and lead a marketing team and for the role to evolve into a broader CMO position as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Own, build and develop Weissr’s entire marketing function from scratch
  • Define and drive Weissr’s positioning, value propositions and category narrative
  • Design and execute a demand generation and ABM strategy targeting enterprise accounts in Europe and North America
  • Work closely with Sales on account-based initiatives to generate qualified pipeline
  • Define ICPs, buying committees and MQL criteria in close collaboration with Sales
  • Develop content that builds credibility and decision readiness among senior stakeholders in finance, operations and IT
  • Develop and articulate customer case studies and references that demonstrate measurable business impact, ROI and decision confidence
  • Build lead nurturing flows and marketing automation for long and complex buying journeys
  • Ensure tight alignment and clear processes between Marketing, Sales and Customer Success
  • Measure, analyse and continuously optimise marketing efforts based on pipeline and revenue impact
  • Lay the foundation for, and over time build, a high-performing marketing team

Your background

We are looking for someone who brings a strong combination of strategic thinking and operational execution.

You likely have:

  • Proven experience building and owning B2B SaaS marketing, preferably in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong background in demand generation and pipeline-driven marketing towards large organisations
  • Experience with ABM, positioning and messaging for long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to articulate clear value propositions, ROI cases and business impact
  • A commercial, analytical mindset with a focus on what actually drives revenue
  • Experience working closely with Sales and taking shared responsibility for outcomes
  • Solid experience with CRM and marketing automation tools, preferably HubSpot
  • Familiarity with modern marketing and sales tech such as LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Cognism or similar tools
  • A self-driven, hands-on approach and comfort operating in a build-from-scratch environment
  • Excellent English skills, written and spoken, Swedish is a clear advantage

  • Experience from building or leading a marketing team
  • Exposure to capital-intensive industries or working closely with CFOs, finance or controlling functions
  • Academic background, although results and practical experience are prioritized

The role is expected to be based primarily at the Gothenburg office to enable close collaboration and knowledge sharing.
