As our new Solution Expert you will play an important part of the Sales Team and secure a high customer satisfaction and further increased adoption of Amadeus products and solutions.

Together with Commercial Account Manager you will drive the commercial responsibility within our Online Travel Agency segment. You will, in most cases, be the go-to-person regarding detailed product, solution, functional and technical recommendations and requests. You will also drive the gathering of Online Travel Agency market and Customers requirements as well as documenting and escalating potential functional and technical issues and insights.

The role reports to the Head of Sales for Online & Leisure Travel. 

You will 

  • Together with Commercial Account Manager drive the sales process by providing relevant product and technical solutions
  • Analyze the customers’ operational requirements to identify solutions that meets the customer needs
  • Assist with in depth presentation of the proposed solution to the customer and/or live demonstrations of the solutions
  • Take active part in implementation project of solutions, products and projects in the customer environment
  • Be the go-to-person for the customer regarding ongoing problem resolution and configuration of existing or new solutions
  • Assist and advise sales and marketing functions on functionality and solutions upon request
  • Provide functional consulting and usage optimization services.

Your background before joining us 

You have an university degree in IT or Engineering and minimum 3 years experience in technical sales and system solutions. Your knowledge of client facing activities including presentations and documenting customer requirements are well known as well as your experience within the fields of software development and problem resolution processes. Experience in travel technology, travel distribution and online business solutions is advantage of course. A big plus on top of this is experience from e-commerce companies.
