Nordic E-Commerce Director

As Nordic E-commerce Director you will be responsible for improving profitability, increase sales, acquire new customers and drive GANT brand experience in the Nordic web-shops. You are responsible for driving GANT Nordics online sales through own E-commerce, achieve targets and lead Nordic E-commerce teams within Sweden, Denmark and Finland. You will be reporting to CEO, have budget responsibility and be a part of the Nordic Management team. You will work closely with the Global E-commerce Team.

Responsibilities.

  • Create a yearly plan for E-com activities in line with overall marketing and business plan and budget, including P&L responsibility
  • Manage all aspects of digital marketing ensuring clear ROI targets are set
  • Review SEO issues and execute on-site improvements, drive site development where needed
  • Responsible for all acquisition channels and associated KPIs from newsletter to SEO and paid media. 
  • Deliver on the set sales and profitability plan
  • Ensure copy, content, descriptions and newsletters are data rich and in keeping with brand
  • Report sales and set KPI’s on a weekly basis
  • Set email and online CRM strategy to increase engagement and sales
  • Use Google Analytics to provide insight and drive recommendations
  • Build and ensure a close working relationship with B&M team to ensure maximum availability for in season trading and sale
  • Develop, lead and ensure top-class service from customer support team with focus on sales, creating long-lasting relationships and increase sales outreach 
  • End-responsibility for efficient warehouse operations
  • Manage PPC agency or consultancy to maximize ROI

Experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years experience of managing e-commerce and leading teams
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to work in a team environment; solid written and verbal communicator
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, adapt to change and maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong systems understanding
  • Experience within loyalty management and marketing automation at a fast-paced company
  • Experience from companies where sales and commercial is focus and makes the difference
  • Knowledge in e-commerce platforms and performance marketing
  • Industry knowledge from fashion or consumer products sector
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken 
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify issues, find resolution and implement change
