Role overview

As director of operations Sweden you will manage Wanda operations in Sweden from A to Z, including our fleet of electric trucks, Wanda drivers, warehouse operations and logistics partnerships. You will be responsible for establishing your team in Stockholm, as well as scaling the operations to new cities in Sweden. You love operations like we do. You are a self-motivated professional who is not afraid to get your hands dirty – but who is an effective collaborator and who prefers to create results in a strong team. You are probably used to splitting your time between crunching numbers in the office as well as spending time out and about with your operations team.

The role reports to Country Manager Sweden and will work closely with the group COO & operations team based in Oslo.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Wanda’s operations in Stockholm and operationally lead later expansion in Sweden. This includes management of daily tasks such as route planning, driver management, pickup and delivery execution and warehouse processes management and optimization
• Manage Wanda’s daily 3PL operations and correspondence in Stockholm and later across Sweden
• Contribute to development and implementation of Wanda’s operational processes and routines in close cooperation with Wanda COO and central operations organisation
• Collaborate with other functions to drive improvement and development of Wanda product and internal tools
• Main KPIs for the role are, among others: Customer satisfaction/net promoter score, driver/operator satisfaction, sick leave and injuries, warehouse utilization, operations efficiency and transportation utilization
• Contribute and support a continuous improvement culture throughout the operations and company as a whole
• Establish and manage a growing team of colleagues

Experience

• We believe you have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and at least 2-3 years of leadership experience from fast growing teams
• You have hands-on experience from building logistics models/processes (inc. e.g., pickups, linehaul, delivery routes etc) and executing on these
• You have a passion for and ability to handle new challenges and you want to be in the center of the operation/business
