The founding team of Kodiak Hub had spent years working in corporate environments with global teams, honing the ability to develop business value through a collaborative and partnership approach, and were struck by the lack of user-friendly easy B2B tools. Kodiak Hub is on a quest to solve these challenges.

Purpose of role:

As our new CFO you’ll have the ultimate responsibility for the company’s finances – planning, implementing, and running all the financial activities related to budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and cash management. The role also bridges finance and operations, ensuring that financial insights translate into operational excellence and business growth, and actively contributes towards a high degree of financial understanding across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in accounting, business administration or finance
  • +8 years experience of finance overall, preferably from a high-growth SaaS-company
  • Ability to both set a strategy & hands-on execute on responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, regulatory issues, legal issues, and overall corporate governance
  • Strong data- and analytical skills, and an ability to provide clear recommendations based on data
  • Strong communication & leadership skills 

Areas of responsibilites:

  • Financial planning & reporting: Oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, & cash flow management to ensure financial stability and transparency.
  • Strategic financial leadership: Aligns financial strategy with business operations, ensuring capital allocation supports growth, efciency, and profitability.
  • Operational efficiency & process optimization: Leads initiatives to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance cost control across departments.
  • Data-driven decision making: Utilizes real-time data and analytics to provide actionable insights that drive operational & financial performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Works closely with all teams to integrate financial goals with business operations.
  • Performance management: Develops & tracks OKR´s and KPIs that link financial outcomes to operational efectiveness, ensuring accountability across teams.
  • Technology & automation: Enhances the use of AI-driven analytics, & automation tools to optimize financial and operational processes.
  • Risk management & compliance: Ensures financial and operational risks are proactively identified and mitigated, balancing governance with agility.
  • Team development: Builds finance and operational teams that are aligned with the company’s strategic direction, fostering a performance-driven culture.
  • Investor & board relations & DD: Operationalize the Kodiak Hub equity story, leads capitalization rounds and manages financial and operational due diligences. Prepares for and participates in Board Meetings.
