Teachiq is a growing SaaS company with strong products, a clear mission, and a solid financial foundation. We were founded in 2015 with the goal of creating digital tools that make a difference for teachers—and of building a company that is long-term, independent, and sustainable. Since the start, we’ve grown without external funding, giving us the freedom to invest wisely and avoid sudden swings. We are now more than 40 team members. Many of us come from teaching backgrounds or product companies like Spotify, eBay, and Google. What unites us is a shared belief in the importance of teaching—and the sense of meaning that comes from supporting teachers in their work. We believe that the teaching profession is a cornerstone of a well-functioning society, and we’re looking for someone who shares that view. We have offices in Danderyd (Stockholm) and Gothenburg, and this role is based in Danderyd. You’re expected to be there most of the time to build relationships with the team, leadership, and the broader organization. As a workplace, we value trust, thoughtfulness, and deep competence. THE MISSION

Teachiq is entering an exciting phase. Our international business, driven by our product exam.net, is gaining momentum—usage is growing rapidly, customer satisfaction is high, and new customers are continuously evaluating us with strong interest. Exam.net is a digital exam platform used by teachers in over 100 countries, and we clearly see its potential for global impact. The momentum is real—and now we want to scale it further.

We are looking for a commercially driven leader to take our international expansion to the next level. This is a newly established role with full P&L responsibility outside the Nordics. You will build on what already works—strengthening, structuring, and leading us toward greater commercial impact. This includes both active selling and leading a small team across sales, customer success, and potentially marketing.

You will be a key voice in commercial strategy and business development internally, reporting to our CEO, and play a central role in the executive team. The role requires close and trust-based collaboration—especially with our CPO and Head of Nordics—as Teachiq has a deeply rooted product culture and a strong position in our home market. The right candidate understands that our long-term success comes from solving real problems for teachers through a strong product, while also developing and scaling our commercial capabilities across the company.

We believe you have experience from commercial leadership roles in international product companies—ideally within SaaS—where you’ve combined strategic business ownership with hands-on sales leadership. Experience in edtech or the education sector is a plus but not a requirement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own the full P&L responsibility for our international business
  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team with a strong sense of purpose, clarity, and energy
  • Act as a cultural role model in how we combine teacher-first thinking with commercial sharpness
  • Own, develop, and execute our international commercial strategy
  • Actively sell—especially during the build-up phase—and take part in key customer meetings as both seller and coach
  • Deepen collaboration between sales, CS, and marketing so that functions amplify each other
  • Drive and eventually lead procurement processes, reseller models, and partnerships
  • Develop structured and data-informed go-to-market initiatives when we see signs of product-market fit
  • Work with product and leadership to evaluate and prioritize markets—and sense when the timing is right to drive go-to-market activities and further develop our playbook

  • Experience in business development, internationalization, and scalable growth in SaaS or product companies
  • Hands-on experience in B2B sales, ideally in product-led growth (PLG) settings
  • Driven to explore and apply new technologies and AI that can amplify commercial efforts
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to think beyond your own function and contribute to the whole
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a leadership style that builds long-term trust

PRACTICAL DETAILS

  • You will be part of the executive team and report to the CEO
  • You will have budget and personnel responsibility
  • The role is based in Danderyd, Stockholm, and you’re expected to be present most of the time to collaborate with the team and organization
  • Some travel is required but limited and well-balanced
