Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager – The Absolut Company

The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Manager is part of the Global Market Activation team. The key objective of the Market Activation team is to accelerate the deployment of assets in markets, create consistency in the story of the Absolut brand and follow-through on strategy and initiatives. This team will work directly with all markets to inspire, engage and make sure that assets are easily accessible for the market companies. Being part of this team will engage you in all aspects of the business!

Main Purpose of Role

The mail purpose of the role as Integrated Business Planning Manager is accelerating business growth by facilitating cross-functional collaboration and delivery, rigorous project management (the Absolut Process) and optimal resource allocation.

Overall Responsibility

The IBP Manager will be responsible for supporting the adoption of a new delivery-process into the organization, monitoring projects and business performance and facilitating transparent and effective decision-making and communication on status on initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the new process and the embedding thereof

• Facilitate communication between global team and markets (updates, issue management, performance review decision making)

• Facilitates internal and cross-functional communication & collaboration

• Assist project leads to deliver assets and to deploy global / cluster initiatives

• Own stage-gates & decision making flow

• Organizes forums and inputs internally

• Recommends adjustments needed on resource allocation / initiatives

• Oversee project portfolio & aggregates Absolut Project funnel

• Ensure transparency of decisions made to all relevant stakeholders

• Coach and train project leads

• Supports VP/CEO in chairing meetings


• Business Degree, preferable in Marketing

• Minimum 3-5 years relevant business experience from the consumer goods sector within marketing and brand management

• Experience with complex project management in a marketing environment

• Fluent in Swedish and English is a Must


• Strong business acumen

• Sense of urgency and target orientation – capacity to deliver significant output under tight deadlines

• Exceptional project management/leadership skills

• Highly structured ways of working – process orientation

• Collaborate and communicate efficiently and thrive in a cross-functional and multi-layered organization
