EF Education First is looking for a dynamic and accomplished business professional to join the leadership team in Boston. As Vice President of Finance you will be part of a passionate team that operates with the mindset of a startup, but has the resources to deliver projects that positively impact millions.

The Role

As the Vice President of Finance you will work hand-in-hand with the division’s President to set and execute the business strategy and will be responsible for delivering the business objectives set with the Board. You will oversee all financial planning and analysis for the division, owning the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting. This includes, but is not limited to, budgeting, pricing, projections, target setting, financial modeling and key investment decisions. In addition, you will be responsible for the division’s revenue management. You will play an active part in resource allocation with the focus to deliver a top-quality product while balancing the fiduciary objectives of the company. You are a talented individual who can envision business opportunities, proactively engage to resolve challenges and secure execution and follow- through of the strategy in the market place.

Requirements

  • Relevant business and financial work experience 
  • Academic degree from a top college / university 
  • Exceptional analytical & problem solving skills 
  • Financial analysis skills (accounting / auditing experience is a major plus) 
  • Fluency in English 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Flexible personality with a ‘nothing-is-impossible’ attitude
