Digital Director

Acne Studios is a Stockholm based fashion house with a multi-disciplinary heritage. Through founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s interest in art, architecture and street culture, an alternative path has been found, turning Acne Studios into a well-respected creator of ready-to-wear for men and women. The collections are defined by Jonny Johansson’s signature juxtaposing design and attention to detail, with an emphasis on tailoring and an eclectic use of materials and custom developed fabrics.Acne Studios is independently owned and has over 45 stores over the world including flagship stores in Paris, London, New York City, Los Angeles and Tokyo. The company has an annual turnover of around 200 MEUR and a total number of staff of more than 600, around 200 are working at the headquarters in Stockholm. Acne Studios also operate offices in Paris, New York, Oslo and Shanghai.

The Acne Studios Digital team presents compelling digital experiences across markets in Europe, Asia and America. The Digital Director is responsible for driving sales and managing digital marketing, operations, production and merchandising functions to provide clients with digital experiences that are consistent with the brands exceptional standards.

The Digital Director is an experienced individual with the ability to lead a business and teams strategically, operationally, creatively, and analytically. The candidate will demonstrate a successful track record of delivering business growth and innovative digital solutions within a consumer context.

As a Digital Director you will be part of the executive management team and report to the CEO. The position is based at Acne Studios headquarter in Stockholm. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the growth of the digital business through innovative ideas and process improvements.
  • Oversee e-commerce P&L
  • Develop business cases and partners with other departments in execution of growth initiatives
  • Leverage industry trends, technology and leading practices to challenge the status quo in support of long-term developments
  • Responsible for all aspects of global e-commerce operations
  • Drive ongoing business analysis and reporting
  • Oversee the digital production teams to ensure the accurate and timely release of content and services to support business needs
  • Guarantees the overall integrity and consistency of brand standards across digital initiatives

Your background

  • Minimum 10 years of advanced work experience of which at least 3 years within digital business
  • Demonstrated successful senior leadership track record
  • Strong undergraduate exam in business, engineering or similar
  • A sincere interest in contemporary culture and technology

  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce processes and technologies
  • Outstanding analytical skills with strong experience interpreting data and drawing conclusions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior stakeholders
  • An intellectual curiosity to identify, understand and solve complex problems
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Progressive and adaptable to change
