Head of Regional Finance

We are now looking for a Head of Regional Finance who will be part of the EMEA-team as well as a member of the management team. As Head of Regional Finance, you will drive the business strategy implementation with a special focus on the financial domain of the strategy.

The Head of Regional Finance will be responsible for implementing and securing good processes for the group business controlling strategy based upon the annual financial cycle with business planning, budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting. An extensive part will be to work on the strategic and tactical level with business cases and to support commercial activities in order to improve our financial efficiency and cash flow in the region. The function will work on establishing a high degree of financial transparency and great understanding of our business both short, mid and long-term. You will manage a team of controllers.


Key responsibilities:

  • Business planning, annual budget and forecasting

  • Reporting monthly financial and operational status for the region

  • Analyze financial status and plan for improvements

  • Work with countries/regional functions to find challenges and help find solutions

  • Ensure group financial and controlling guidelines are understood and followed in all countries 



  •       At least 7 years experience of business controlling with knowledge in auditing and accounting

  •       Relevant University Degree

  •       Strong analytical capabilities

  •       Solid financial and commercial knowledge

  •       Strong knowledge of international financial reporting standards and local tax reviews

  •       Working experience from larger and international companies as well as management
          experience is a plus

  •       Fluent in English. Additional Scandinavian languages, German or French would be a plus



  •       You are a self-starter and a doer with the ability to form strategies as well as being “hands on”

  •       You are a problem solver with a can-do attitude

  •       You enjoy working under pressure in a dynamic environment
