Key Account Manager

European ERV is one of the largest players in the Swedish market for private and business insurance and insurance for expatriates. In Sweden, ERV annually assure over 1.2 million travelers and 10 million bank and credit cards and also provide special insurance for watches and jewelry. ERV is the expert in travel insurance within the ERGO Insurance Group, which is part of Munich Re, one of the world's leading reinsurance companies and risk carriers.

ERV is now looking for a Key Account Manager within their unit that operates towards corporate business.

Key areas of responsibility.

  • Identify new business and new customers
  • Take care of and develop relationship with broker network.
  • Responsible to manage, conduct and follow up sales activities in designated accounts.
  • Overall accountable for P&L on appointed customers including appointed partners.
  • Have a proactive approach and sets up plan, purpose and goals of customers and take care of and develop customer relationships.
  •  Have a strong presence at the customer to identify new business opportunities and securing existing.
  • Ensure that clients are continuously informed about news and promotions as well as participating in trade fairs, sales and supplier meetings, kick-offs with customers etc.
  • Suggest product development based on market needs and participate in development projects and in various internal company projects primarily within the product and offering.
  • Coordinate and secure development activities with customer and ERVs different team and keep together long business processes with complex solutions.
  • Capability to take idea from idea to contract signing.
