Head of Online Marketing

Founded in 2016, Otovo is a venture-backed startup intent on simplifying the transition from energy-draining, stupid individual homes to solar powered and smarter communities. We build software that helps people decide on going solar and we run a network of installers that make it happen in the real world. In addition, we connect the solar powered homes with the grid and operate as a power company that sells clean and local power. At Otovo, we’re building the energy company of the future.
We believe that homeowners and businesses should be able to get cheap and clean energy in a simpler way, that is more fun and puts them in control rather than the large utilities. 

After already making a dent in the Norwegian market, the goal is now to expand businesses to Sweden. The Scandinavian region is leading the way in creating the energy markets of the future, as we believe that the next step in solar cost reductions will come from digitalization of installs.

Therefore, we are now looking for a star candidate that will grow the online business in Sweden, and in the future additional markets. You will lead the strategic and operational work for online marketing and work closely with General Manager SE / Chief Growth Officer, to reach and deliver up on set targets.

Responsibilities.                                                                                     

  • Set up and lead the online marketing strategy for Otovo
  • Develop, produce and optimize SEM and Paid Social Media – focus on Adwords, Programmatic and Facebook.
  • Analyze and optimize SEM traffic and ROI/KPIs, building the basis for knowledge driven decision making based on profitability goals.
  • Set relevant KPI targets and report on-going performance according to goals and present action plans to the management team.
  • Investigate and assess opportunities from new media channels to accelerate growth.

Requirements.

  • Highly motivated and genuinely interested in the online marketing field.
  • 3+ years experience from working with multiple online sources such as SEM, Social, Adwords and Programmatic with a strong track record, preferable from a top tier digital agency. 
  • Great analytical skills, comfortable with all available tools within digital marketing.
