We are looking for a sales-driven and business-savvy City Manager to join Volvo Car Mobility/Sunfleet’s market team and lead our organisation in Malmö & Mid. In this role, you will be responsible for sales and operations within the city and surrounding areas. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, business development, and finance to sell, scale, and forecast growth. This role reports directly to the Swedish market, Sunfleet – CEO.

Sunfleet recently celebrated its 20th birthday and was the first company in Sweden to offer a mobility service like car sharing. Since May 2018, Sunfleet became a wholly owned subsidiary of Volvo Car Mobility AB. Volvo Car Mobility is a standalone venture from Volvo Cars based in Stockholm, Sweden. In July 2018, Volvo Car Mobility announced their first brand: M, a global shared mobility service with a mission to enable more people to move – freely, meaningfully, and sustainably.
Key responsibilities.
- Managing the implementation of business plan for designated city
- Overseeing P&L of the city team in accordance with business plan
- Maximizing market/customer potential to grow profit and revenue in line with the target
- Facilitating business partnerships, to discuss new business potentials and negotiate optimal agreements/solutions within the city
- Working closely with the finance team to track and review performance and KPI´s
- Driving continuous improvements and operational efficiency
- Meeting business targets in delivering market share, revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Nurturing company culture and developing a highly motivated, high-performing team
Experience.
- Relevant academic education, from e.g. Economics & Business Administration or Industrial engineering and management
- Several years of leadership experience with a proven track record of creating, coaching and leading successful teams
- Experience with P&L responsibility and proven sales track record
- Documented experience from strategy work and implementations in businesses
- Documented experience from working with analysis, continue improvements to constantly strive to make the team a little bit more efficient and effective
- Experience from retail operation is a merit
- Fluency in Swedish and English is a must
- Previous tech/startup experience is a plus
