Within Fortum Consumer Solutions Division, the Business area Insuring & Securing is responsible for the value added services for retail customers. The purpose is to broaden and strengthen the customer relationships via attractive offerings such as sustainability products, price security services, insurances and payment solutions.

Insuring and securing is now strengthening the team with a Business Analyst to ensure a fact based and customer centric way of working. The main area of focus will be on the Swedish brands GötaEnergi and Fortum Sweden, but also projects across countries and business areas. The role will be part of a global team of four, and reports to Analysis Manager Caroline Heggelund, Insuring & securing.

The position will be based in Stockholm but expect to travel and cooperate with counterparts in our other business units in the Nordics.

Responsibilities

As a business analyst you will support management and business units to make informed, data driven decisions, thus helping the business area attract and serve its customers in a smarter way. You will be responsible for creating insights and business value from data through close collaboration with other business areas in Fortum, as well as working closely together with the data management team to ensure data quality and availability. Furthermore, build insight on the customer base to identify the next best action and continuously improve operation and processes by following up findings and explore data.

We are working in cross functional teams with the development of Fortum’s services to customers through agile business exploration based on Lean Startup methodology and Design Thinking. You will be active in this work and communicate analysis in a precise and easy-to-understand manner for management and other decision makers. In addition, you are expected to be a contributor to other relevant projects internally.

Experience

  • Academic degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or other relevant advanced degree
  • 2-5 years of experience from the consulting industry or similar roles, with commercial analysis, segmentation and / or modeling
  • Experience with innovation and business development with the use of the Lean Startup methodology or Design Thinking
  • Experience with programming languages ​​R, Python or SQL and visualization tools like Power BI or QlikSense is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Good written and verbal ability in English and Swedish
  • Proven track record from developing and managing relationships and networks in large organizations.
