Trade Marketing Manager

Are you interested in driving the development of our growth and beloved brands? We are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to strengthen our Swedish Marketing team. This position reports directly to Activation & Experience Manager and is located in Solna, Sweden.

As Trade Marketing Manager you will be responsible for Trade Marketing activities within the Swedish Market. This includes planning, executing and follow up in-store activities to enable categories and brand growth.

You will be part of a cross-functional team, where an interaction between sales, category marketing and marketing is a prerequisite for winning the market. 

Key responsibilities.

  • Create and implement local trade marketing activities and projects for the Paulig portfolio Santa Maria and Risenta. 
  • Responsible for activities and instore consumer promotions.​
  • Responsible for trade marketing activation and execution guidelines/briefs (BTL) and follow-up (KPIs, measures effectiveness). ​
  • Act as business partner for local sales team and contribute to game plans by TOP customers. ​
  • Putting shopper insight into practice to develop customer co-operation and sales: shopper profiles and channels, expectations and needs, influencing shoppers. ​
  • Lead the local sales planning process.
  • Develop in-store support programs: displays, promos, shelves etc. 
  • Develop ​sell-in material to sales force.
  • Responsible for central advertising.

Driving business performance

  • Set and closely follow the implementation of objectives and KPIs in assigned area.​
  • Locally act as center of expertise in key functional competencies: shopper insights, trade activations, customer negotiations.​
  • Follow-ups on allocated budgets, recording and controlling spending by activities.​
  • Support local marketing and sales teams for execution in-store.​

Qualifications.

  • 3-5 years of experience from a trade marketing role, preferably from retail or an international FMCG environment.
  • University degree in Marketing.
  • Commercial understanding and strong communication skills.
  • Proven track record of building partnerships with internal/external partners.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
