Global Marketplaces Manager

Orkla Health is owned 100% by Orkla ASA, and is headquartered at Skøyen in Oslo. Orkla Health is a leading supplier and marketer of a broad range of dietary supplements and health products. Home markets are the Nordic countries, the Baltics and Poland, and Orkla Health is also widely represented in many European countries. Some of the best known brands are Möller's, Gerimax, Collett, Nutrilett, Curamed, Sana-sol and Maxim. The products are sold through grocery, health food and pharmacy. In 2018 Orkla Health had total turnover of 1.7 billion NOK.

The global marketplaces manager will be an essential part of growing our presence on digital global marketplaces. Day-to-day performance marketing and sales optimizing is something you live for and want to develop even further.

Work tasks and responsibilities

  • Optimizing day-to-day sales and marketing on Amazon and other marketplaces
  • Sales forecasting and dialogue with supply chain, making sure products are available
  • Increase revenue derived from global marketplaces
  • Plan, activate and evaluate activities on digital marketplaces
  • Maintain product feeds for marketplaces
  • Launch and evaluate products and brands on global marketplaces
  • Be the go-to-person for the organization in everything surrounding Amazon and other marketplaces
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to prepare material and campaigns on global platforms
  • Launch brands and products on new global marketplaces and additional markets

Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years’ of relevant experience from working with digital commercial platforms
  • Experience from working with sales, preferably from a Key Account Manager role.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in marketing, IT or Business or relevant work experience
  • Have worked with Amazon and other eCommerce marketplaces from a technical and/or operations perspective
  • Used to handle large sets of data
  • Worked on the brand side selling on global platforms, alternatively had a commercial responsibility on global marketplace
  • Understand technical infrastructure and architecture for product feeds
  • Used to handling, communicating and follow up external partners
  • Commercial eCommerce background, preferably from big international marketplace

Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to challenge when needed. You are good at handling, prioritizing and deliver several projects at the same time and have a high level of efficiency.
