Head of Credit Risk

The position.

Now we are looking for a Head of Credit Risk for Existing Account Management Cards, Collections & Recoveries to lead a team with responsibility for managing Credit Risk strategy & policy.

Key responsibilities.

  • Lead a team with responsibility for Credit Risk strategy & policy for Cards and Collections and Recoveries for all portfolios
  • Ensure that the right team structure and people capabilities are in place to deliver consistently high quality output
  • Drive an ongoing evolution in the analytical techniques used by the team.
  • Accountable for high-quality analytics, strategy development & testing of credit policies & strategies
  • Ensure that policies, strategies, processes are continuously monitored, tracked and optimized
  • Ensure close cooperation and alignment with other relevant functions and departments in policies and strategies development
  • Work closely with the Credit Risk Decision Science team to ensure that a strong suite of models is deployed for decisioning
  • Ensure that new model development takes account of market-specific factors
  • Drive application of industry-leading analytics for relevant EnterCard products
  • Support the wider Credit Risk team and EnterCard organisation in a range of forums through inputs of ideas, constructive challenges and learnings from experience
  • Invest a significant proportion of time in people

  • Experience of managing Credit Risk strategy holistically, in partnership with non-Credit Risk functions
  • Good understanding of applicable regulations and guidelines for the Nordic consumer credit industry

  • Ability to communicate technical Credit Risk matters clearly to non-Credit Risk colleagues
  • Understanding of the impacts of Credit Risk strategy on the entire business model
  • Minimum 7 years experience of Consumer Finance Credit Risk or similar disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years experience of people-management
  • Are fluent in English
  • Have a University degree in Laws/Economics/Science
