Claims Solution Leader

Responsibilities

The role as Claims Solution Leader comprise the Claims Preparation & Claims Advocacy teams and services in Sweden, where this role also will be responsible to build a local Claims Solution team. The role is Stockholm based but involves travel and you will be working closely with the local Advisory, Placement, and Sales teams and other stakeholders including members of the Sweden Executive.

The role is key to ensuring the effective development, implementation, and delivery of the Claims Solutions service to clients, including strategic initiatives such as core service definition, new product development and the appropriate monetization of our value-added services. Importantly, this role covers both our bundled and unbundled services to clients.

The role demands leadership in the areas of business development, client delivery, people management & communication to all of the Claims Solutions team. You will also be responsible for the revenue and broader P&L targets for Claims Solutions Sweden.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience from the industry
  • Experience of technical claim handling, preferably from liability and/or financial lines.
  • Track record of resolving major and complex claim disputes
  • Detailed understanding of claims process and markets
  • Educated to a degree standard and professionally qualified
  • Understanding and knowledge of P&L management and budgetary control
  • Existing relationship with major market Insurers, Adjusters etc and knowledge of their products
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Organisational skill and the ability to project manage teams and claims
  • Understanding of client service requirements and the ability to deliver value
  • Ability to work collegiately and develop strong stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to create and implement business development strategies
