The Absolut Company has the worldwide responsibility for the production and marketing of ABSOLUT VODKA, MALIBU, KAHLÚA, Wyborowa, Luksusowa, and Frïs.

• ABSOLUT VODKA is the world’s fourth largest premium spirits brand. Every bottle of ABSOLUT VODKA is produced in Åhus in southern Sweden.

• MALIBU is the number one coconut-flavoured rum in the world, sold in more than 150 countries.

• KAHLÚA coffee liqueur is the world leader in its category.

ABSOLUT is launching ABSOLUT ELYX – The Single Estate, Handcrafted luxury vodka – in the US in April 2013. This is the most strategic project for The Absolut Company at the moment. To build the highest level of edge, creativity and premiumness on the ABSOLUT overall franchise, ABSOLUT ELYX is set to be the spearhead of the Renaissance of the brand. With the clear vision to establish ABSOLUT ELYX as the leader of the Superpremium category, the purpose of this introduction is to disrupt the category and reposition competitors to build a winning market share within the next 5 years globally, with a special focus in the historic leading American market.

ASSIGNMENT

• Lead and implement the global strategy of the ABSOLUT ELYX and secure commercial success and internal best practices

• Lead the global marketing strategy for ABSOLUT ELYX with a dedicated focus to the US market

• Develop ATL and BTL communication in collaboration with communication development manager and director

• Lead the global on-trade strategy for ABSOLUT ELYX to ensure visibility and rotations in the most influencing outlets of the world

• Manage the collaborations with artists and influencers together with the communication team to define and produce content for the brand

• Internal and external ambassador to build enthusiasm for the ABSOLUT brand

PROFILE

Experience

• University degree, most likely in Business or Communication is wanted, not required

• Marketing experience 5-8 years

• Brand management or transferable experience within spirits or FMCG

• Experience from innovation development is beneficial

• International experience is highly desirable, particularly from the US market

Competence

• Strong strategic capability coupled with commercial orientation

• Strong ability to shift between strategic and executional areas of work

• Strong ability to lead and manage cross functional projects and teams

• Strong collaborations skills

• Strong track record in developing brand and business building initiatives

• Goal oriented self-starter with solutions driven approach

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• English spoken and written with great proficiency
