About the role

The Category Manager for Face cosmetics, being part of Perrigo’s Central Marketing team, reporting to the VM Marketing & Digital Perrigo BCS, is a key person in driving the Cosmetics innovation strategy across Perrigo’s skin care markets in various countries across Europe: for the market leader pharmacy skincare brand ACO in the Nordics, the drugstore market premium brand Biodermal in the Netherlands, the pharmacy brand Iwostin in Poland and Dermalex in Turkey. Further geographic expansion of Perrigo skincare and globalization of existing brands is a key strategic area and will impact this role as well. Innovation is a key driver for profitable growth of our SkinCare brands across the region. Cross functional collaboration with our R&D centre of excellence as well as with in country Skin Care Marketing teams is an important successfactor in this role.

Your main Responsibilities

Build a 5-year innovation pipeline for Perrigo’s European Derma Face brands:

  • Develop and execute global Face cosmetics Marketing strategies, with focus on innovation (New products ànd renovation of current product portfolio)
  • Lead and drive the innovation process to build a 5-year innovation pipe. Design the process, lead workshops and together with key stakeholders decide on the launch plan.
  • Be the Face cosmetics consumer insight expert and identify what type of new consumer research is needed and when
  • Be the global Face cosmetics consumer trends expert and secure that big and relevant trends are captured and serves as base in all new launches.
  • Lead a global cross functional derma cosmetics team through innovation process.
  • Ensure Innovation pipe contributes to profitable, sustainable growth for key markets.
  • Budget owner of the available research budget at Central for Derma Face

Concept development

  • Together with key local brand owners build clear and strong concepts based on core consumer insights, strong and relevant claims and strong and easy to understand reason to believes.
  • Together with Innovation develop the product development Brief
  • Serve as Corporate Marketing lead in all product development projects. Work closely with the formulation team and the packaging team to deliver best in class on the success factors identified in the concept and brief.
  • Develop commercially strong launch presentations to enable local markets success
  • Support local Brand owners in design development and secure alignment with concept
  • Have a strong business and commercial perspective in all decision made to serve a healthy P&L
  • Follow up launches, capture key learnings and deploy across skincare markets
