Eways is currently looking for a Global eCommerce Manager to expand and drive the business. They are at the start of their scale up journey and the right candidate will be playing a key role to ensure the future growth and the international expansion.

The main target group to convert online is house owners. There is also an untapped potential in digital leads generation from real estate owners, corporations, municipalities and freight companies that want to drive fossil-free. Eways is highly agile, innovative, and entrepreneurial, working closely together and cross-department to build sustainable growth. The vision is to make the world a better place to live, fossil free, charger by charger.

The position is placed in the head quarter in Stockholm/Stocksund and reports directly to the CEO/Founder.

Key responsibilities and tasks.

  • Development and implementation of strategic eCommerce plan. Combine existing expertise in the team to deliver a superior online shopping experience.
  • Oversee the eCommerce website. Manage the overall user experience, including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop effective planning and execution of the eCommerce strategy, working cross- functionally with the team to ensure QA and timely publishing of all web content.
  • Direct integrated campaigns that will deliver an increase in conversion rates and margin performance.
  • Own and manage Internet marketing solutions, social media integration, SEO and other monitoring methodologies and analytics.
  • Provide thought leadership and process optimization initiatives such as implementing eCommerce software and other industry best practices.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements for the operation process
  • Responsible for business and marketing strategy
  • Build team of digital specialists due to business needs and priorities
  • Develop eCommerce partnerships
  • Manage day-to-day as well as long-term activities and priorities for the eCom business.

Key Parameters for success.

  • Deliveries on key KPIs: revenue, visitors to site, conversion, onsite optimization etc.
  • Prove/iterate business model to enable commercial success
  • P&L management
  • Establish brand awareness according to geo-targeting incubation model
  • Volume / Sales Revenue, payback/ROI
  • Market share globally.

Previous experience and competences.

  • University degree for example in Marketing, Business & E-Commerce
  • Solid +5 years of experience of direct-to-consumer online sales
  • Extensive knowledge of eCommerce technologies and tactics
  • Leadership experience including project management, coaching own team as well as influencing stakeholders
  • Worked in a “start-up spirit” through developing and/or launching new companies and/or brands
  • Experience from scale up in different markets
  • Developing eCommerce partnerships
  • International work experience is meritorious, international mindset is a must
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
