Head of Sales

Together with BAUX we are looking for an experienced, driven and structured Head of Sales with a distinct business and customer focus. You thrive best in fast growing and dynamic culture and want to be a part of a journey of change.

As the Head of Sales you have a key role in the company with a operational responsibility. You will work closely with the internal sales team, agents, architects and Baux clients around the world. You contribute with your knowledge in sales, strong relations skills, network and new customer processing. Success will require excellent leadership and sales skills, as well as having a high energy and a ‘just do it’ approach. You will ultimately be responsible for sales with a large budget responsibility where you are expected to quickly establish a strategy and be a driving factor in ensuring the company`s growth ambitions.

You will report directly to the CEO, the board and lead a team of 3 people based at BAUX head office in Stockholm. Travelling will be required to have a close contact with BAUX agents, architects and major clients. This job opening is a fantastic way to roll up your sleeves and execute whilst developing both yourself and BAUX!

What you’ll do:

  • On a daily basis, work operationally with sales activities, networking and relationship building.
  • Manage, motivate and develop the sales team and coordinate with BAUX local units around the world
  • Drive and develop the sales strategy and actions plans for continued growth (with a large element of new customer processing)
  • Prepare and monitor the sales budget
  • Being a BAUX ambassador around the world

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years experience working with sales and marketing of a strong brand where you have actively pursued a journey of change with good results.
  • A global experience from the contract market of furniture/interior design products
  • Great habit of working with architects and international sales through agents/distributors.
  •  Several years of working both strategically and operational at the same time and drive the business forward.
  • A strong business and profit focus as well as a genuine interest in understanding your customers challenges.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
