Brand & Marketing Intelligence Manager – Communications

Scania’s Communications Department operates globally towards several key stakeholders within internal, corporate and marketing communication. We are now recruiting a goal oriented and passionate colleague to our team at Brand & Marketing Intelligence and Planning.

What you will do

As a Brand & Marketing Intelligence Manager, you will support our communication department to make strategically important decisions through brand intelligence. You will be involved at an early stage in prioritized communication projects, define strategy and goals in order to measure impact and guide towards more efficient and purposeful communication. You will lead the work identifying needs and trend monitoring, selecting suitable methods and the execution of brand and communication research.

The role as Brand & Marketing Intelligence Manager has a strong focus on brand measurement, where the monitoring of Scania´s image is essential. The role therefore requires a deep understanding of brand strategies as well as a method for mapping and following its development, and the ability to seamlessly translate analytical topics and insights into actionable recommendations

To be successful in this role, we believe you are an expert within qualitative and quantitative brand research. This includes mastering solid survey design, as well as advanced analytics

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience from executing and leading quantitative market research projects.
  • Experience in brand measurements and analytics (brand association measures, brand archetypes, key driver analysis).
  • Sourcing brand research studies
  • Analysing and creating thought leadership content
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present result and conclusions to management
  • Proven experience in advising key stakeholders on implementing insight and data-driven marketing communication strategies
  • Close dialogue with different stakeholders and business areas to capture needs and key factors in different communication initiatives
  • University degree, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Have experience working in international contexts that require communication skills in English (spoken and written)
