Marketing Manager

Today we have about 445 stations in Sweden and Denmark.

INGO is now looking for a driven and customer focused Marketing Manager. You will have a key position within INGOs Marketing department, contributing to set and achieve the overall marketing business goals for the Swedish and Danish Market. To succeed in this role, it requires a solid competence in building strategic relationships, and be able to transform marketing strategies into understandable action points for other functions.

You will develop the yearly marketing plan together with other key positions within the marketing department for the Swedish and Danish market. This includes setting the marketing strategy and find marketing synergies between Fuel, Carwash and CRM. You will report to Director Fuel & Marketing.

Main task and responsibilities

  • Secure a successful Marketing Plan together with Director Fuel & Marketing for Sweden and Denmark with the purpose to strengthen INGO´s “low price position” and awareness in operating markets for today’s and tomorrow’s customers
  • Synchronize and secure that the Marketing Plan is aligned with Communication Plan, Digital Plan and Category Carwash plan to optimize ROI
  • Act as main contact person for external partners (i.e. advertising/media companies) and challenging costs, writing briefs and follow up performance
  • Fully understand the key business drivers and consumer insights for the INGO brand/position and transform insights into commercial marketing strategies for Fuel, Carwash and loyalty schemes
  • Work cross-functionally with other internal and external departments in Sweden and Europe
  • Network with external and internal stakeholders to create an understanding for INGO as a brand
  • Define and drive projects in a professional way – “making it happen”
  • Maximize ROI within given budget with strong cost control and follow up on different KPI´s

Previous Experience

  • +4 years of experience working as a Marketing Specialist/Manager or similar position, preferably in a FMCG organization
  • Higher education in business management areas, marketing, economics, or similar educational degree
  • Broad experience within digital marketing and setting digital marketing plans/strategies and execute on them
  • Ability to formulate, manage and deliver successful marketing campaigns
  • Solid business understanding
  • Experience with category management and business intelligence
  • Understanding of demand driven forecasting based on consumer insights
  • Experience of having worked with broad media mix and many different types of media channels
  • Excellent in negotiations
