Business Developer Analyst

Airpelago is a startup with offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg. We have built world-class software for drones since 2018. Our goal is to change the way power lines are being inspected. With our software as a central solution, we want to facilitate the transition from helicopters to drones. The transformation has already begun and our goal is to be one of the top three solution providers in the world.Airpelago provides the electric distribution industry with efficient end-to-end inspections of linear infrastructure. Our core service is to capture data and turn it into actionable data. At Airpelago, we strive to push both technological- and regulatory boundaries. Automating inspections results in increased safety, which is an integral part of regulatory compliance. Airpelago holds Sweden’s first permit for Beyond Line of Sight flights in unrestricted airspace. Efficient drone-based inspections also create a safer workplace and reduce carbon emissions.

The position

The Business Developer Analyst will help to grow our business with a wide array of tasks and responsibilities; overall strategy and business model, how to enter new markets, pricing, and which support software is best tailored for our needs. We try to divide tasks but solve challenges together.

The Business Developer Analyst will help to make our operations and processes more efficient and with overall high quality. This includes improving the way we work and having the right support software for it. The Business Developer Analyst should have a natural drive to always want to improve and optimize everything and naturally tackle every challenge with a data-driven approach.

The role includes marketing and sales activities like demos, quotes, and exhibitions. It will require high flexibility in traveling, sometimes with short notice. Expect periodically to travel 1-3 days per week, both within Sweden and abroad.

The Business Developer Analyst may also be part of doing market surveys and market analyzes, which may include doing SEO and online marketing.

About You

As an applicant for this role, you have a broad technical understanding and interest and probably an MSc degree. Curiosity is a natural part of your personality together with the ability to take on new tasks. You are good at communicating, both verbally and in writing. Mastering English and Swedish fluently is a necessity. Fluency in additional languages would be a definite bonus.

The ability to work with risk assessments is another necessity.

You have good computer skills and you are quick to master new tools. You have a strong sense of responsibility and you can manage several projects in parallel. Eventually, you will work with business development and sales as you grow into an advisory role for our clients, from both a technical and business perspective. It is therefore important that you have good business knowledge.

You will work both independently and closely with colleagues depending on the task.

Working in a start-up company requires the ability to navigate and work in a terrain where you need to be able to find an efficient path on your own. It is therefore important that you have a high degree of flexibility to step in and contribute where needed. An entrepreneurial spirit and a solutions-oriented mindset will be necessary.
