E-commerce Manager

E-commerce Manager – Hardware Division Europe

The E-commerce Manager is a pivotal position for Hultafors Group Hardware Division Europe responsible for driving business growth and profitability in e-commerce. Reporting to the Commercial Director, The E-commerce manager will lead the divisions journey towards defined 2030-targetsn D2C E-commerce covering multiple brands. Your mission will be to develop the e-commerce strategy and lead the implementation by creating alignment & joint execution across multiple departments within the Division.

This role collaborates closely with the Regional Sales & Marketing organization as well as the Product Management & Product Communication organization to ensure we establish digital sales channels in line with Divisional Strategy, Brand Platforms & local G2M Strategies. The role will also work closely with our central IT department, to ensure all IT-prerequisites are in place to successfully meet business requirements.

Main Tasks

 D2C Strategy & roadmap

  • Develop and implement eCommerce strategies to drive online sales
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitors to identify opportunities for growth
  • Together with product management function, Identify, evaluate & implement new digital offers & business models such as subscription-models, customized/personalized products etc.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Utilize tools like Google Analytics to track and analyse website traffic and campaign performance.​
  • Collaborate with the Product Communication team to create promotional materials and strategies regarding digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.​

Sales and Conversion Optimization

  • Define digital customer journeys & ensure sites are up to date when it comes to design, functionality, user-experience as well as search engine -optimized.
  • Monitor and analyse online sales performance and conversion rates.​
  • Implement strategies to improve the customer journey and increase conversion rates.​

Inventory and Supply Chain Management

  • Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure product availability.​
  • Manage online product inventory and oversee logistics for order fulfilment and shipping.​

Technology

  • Stay up to date with the latest eCommerce technologies and trends.​
  • Evaluate and implement new tools to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Define IT & E-commerce requirements to be fulfilled by central IT department.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate reports on eCommerce performance metrics such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.​
  • Use data insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.​

Previous experience required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience from proven experience in driving e-commerce and commercial business development.
  • Fluent in Swedish and very good knowledge in English (speech and writing).
  • Experience from setting up & establishing a digital business including Explorative methods (preto-typing, A/B-testings etc.) is a plus.
