MAIN PURPOSE & OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The Service Delivery Managers (SDM) main purpose is to be responsible for IT service delivery to all sites in scope. The SDM should also act as a Change Manager for all Change Requests generated from the business, and owns the decision for a Go/No Go as well as planning of approved.
The SDM has the overall responsibility for the delivery of all operational servers from both internal and external resources involved in the daily operations, delivering SLA reports on weekly and monthly basis.
The SDM follows service-/operations oriented projects from start to finish, and controls and optimizes the investments in IT systems. The SDM should also supervise related projects, and assures a continuous development that keeps the supporting IT systems and related IT operations efficient and updated.
The SDM will also work with continuous improvements to ensure that the common technical platforms are optimized for operation with solutions/applications, and be responsible for the delivery of changes and enhancements of the overall support setup, processes and systems management.
The SDM also has a role to coordinate all ongoing operational services to build a solid and reliable platform that delivers high quality services on a daily basis. SDM should also secure that changes and new solutions adhere to existing policies and IT standards used in the VSOP Platform.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Hold CAB meetings as well as Monthly OCM meeting where operational delivery status is presented.
• Delivery of IT competence and knowledge to the business in different projects.
• Generating delivery status reports for follow up on a monthly basis or other agreed.
